OK, so I am ready to see a few movies that are coming out in the next few months... I still have a bunch that came out last month to see, but these three I really want to see!

The first one comes out in February - It is called The Vow. It has Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum and it looks really good!

The second one comes out March 23rd!!!!!!!!!! And I will be seeing this one opening day! I am even contemplating a midnight showing of this! I also will probably see this one more than once. It's the Hunger Games! and I am SOOOOOO excited for this!

Ps... I think this is the best trailer I've ever seen! I actually think the movie might be better then the books! Mostly because of Jennifer Lawrence. I absolutely love her, and I kind of feel that she is going to give Katniss some depth that you don't see in the books. I also love who they picked for Peeta! and after watching the trailer I finally think I am getting my issue with the boys's hair color sorted out! If you know anything about me and the Hunger Games you will know what I mean! Anyway you should stop reading this and watch the trailer!

Spoiler Alert! Do Not Read If You Have Not Read Clockwork Prince!!!!

OK! AMAZING! I finished Clockwork Prince yesterday and I have to say that out of the six books in the series that I have read so far... this one has to be my favorite! I don't know City of Glass was amazing... but I am kind of over the Mortal Instruments and I am totally into the Infernal Devices world! I can't believe this book. So much happened and I did not see half of it coming! I also feel that Tessa is a little Slut Slut! Pretty much the best thing for this book is for her to be wiped out of it! She was driving me crazy through half of it! by the end of the book I was more concerned about Jem and Will's relationship then I was with any relationship that had to do with Tessa! Especially Jem!!! I kept feeling like he was the one who was going to get screwed over in the end!

I then later read a spoiler for the 5 book in the Mortal Instruments series and it said...

"I know about parabatai," said Magnus, an angry, dark, undercurrent to his voice. "I've known parabatai so close they were almost the same person; do you know what happens, when one of them dies, to the one that's left-"

OK, this is in City of Lost Souls so it is in the Mortal Instruments not the Infernal Devices... But Magnus is totally talking about Will and Jem. I have also read some spoilers that say that some how Will is going to end up immortal. Which cool right because Tessa is, but also really Cassandra Clare are you really selling out like that! As happy as everyone would be I kind of feel like that would be a sell out! And unless Will was going to end up in book 5 and 6 of Mortal Instruments I do not see what the purpose would be. I also feel that we have a little bit of the Pearl Harbor story on our hands here... Boy loves girl, girl loves boy, something happens that prevents boy and girl from being together, boy number 2 enters the picture, boy number 2 loves girl, girl loves boy number 2 but has a better connection with boy number 1, girl agrees to be with and marry boy number 2, both boys have a tight brotherly connection and their relationships are the most important relationships of the story, boy number 1 realizes that he must give up girl for boy number 2, there's a situation where boy number 2 ends up dying but just before boy number 2 dies he tells boy number 1 to be with girl and to take care of her and to love her, boy number 1 and girl end up together and live happily ever after. Yep I kind of feel like that is what is happening! Seriously don't you agree!

Also, the most important part of all of this is that Magnus has become my favorite character! I always loved him, but I love him even more in the ID books then the MD books. She really develops his character more and he is apart of the action a little bit more in the ID series. I feel like in the MD books they are always using Magnus, where as in the ID books he is apart of the parties and the Downworld life as well as taking demons and that life into his own hands... This last point may be way off since I haven't read the last books for a really long time and I don't remember all of them that well, but I just enjoyed him in the ID books more!

Anyways, I am going to have this be my last obsessive moment for this series!

Crazy Fun Weekend!!!

So I spent the weekend at my friend Emily's house! It was a ton of fun! I love her and all of her awesome roommates! They are all super awesome, especially since they let me invade their house for the weekend. Well while I was there we were driving in the car and they all started listening to the song Someone Like You by Adele (Which I happen to HATE... at the time). Any ways I was like "I hate her," and they all about died that I said that. Well ALL of them happen to be Adele sound a likes and they ALL would breakout into song and sing one of the plethora of songs that Adele has! So basically all weekend I was forced into listening to songs being artistically rendered that I hate!!! Well, I came home on Sunday and Someone Like You was stuck in my head. So by Monday afternoon of humming the tune to my self for an entire 24 hours I broke down and bought Someone Like You and Turning Tables from Adele on my itunes; in hopes that if I listened to it that I could get it out of my head. Now I think I might actually like both of them... Not enough to bust into song, but more than what I liked before. Well then yesterday afternoon I was at home working on lesson plans and listening to my itunes (which I never do so it was weird that I was). Anyway, I was listening to Someone Like You and Ted walked into the house and was like, "ADELE!!!! I LOVE HER!" and I thought great I am being attacked by all sides to love this chick! He then proceeded to burst into song. There's something with this chick that just entices everyone to breakout into song!!! Then later that night we went to Walmart and he was like do you like this song, and this song, and this song. I'm not kidding he knew all of her music! I barely know 4 of her songs and up to this point didn't really like any of them and I am surrounded by Adele lovers! So I couldn't help myself, I had to text Emily and let her know that she ruined me! Anyway... it was really funny that all of them and my own dad have now got me to want (not quite love) to listen to Adele. Well everyone should check it out!

Best Carving EVER!!! October Update!

October has been a great month! and a busy one!!! Here's some of what has been happening!

Last night me and Ted carved our pumpkin that we grew!!! I decided that I wanted to do an owl! and it turned out great! I have never carved a pumpkin like this, and I am terrible at carving so I am super glad that it turned out great!!!!!

Also this month I have become a knitter! My awesome friend taught me how to knit! and over this last weekend I figured out how to change colors! Here's what I'm working on!

Also I've been spending LOTS of time with my two dogs, and I've started walking Koda everyday! Here's just a few fun pics of Libby. AND I had a snuggle moment with Scamp... who would have thought that would happen!

I also went to spend a few days with Greg in Cali... It was awesome! We went and played in Golden Gate Park, and we also went and played at the beach there, but Greg has those pictures on his phone. We had some fun hanging out. We went and saw the buffalo, and the windmills!

We also have a cat that lives by the apartment. I have nicknamed him "Little Buddy" and he is one of the friendliest cat. When I was there, I got up and Greg was at work... I spent the entire morning sitting on the steps playing with the cat.

A Jimmer Sighting at Target!!!

I was reading on a blog that I follow and the girl who writes the blog ran into Jimmer at Target!!! Check it out here I can't believe that people just run into him on the streets like that!!! Plus I work literally right next to Target! How is it that I have not had the meet Jimmer, get to take a picture with him on the street, meeting! I am telling you when he finally gets to move to Sacramento (due to the NBA getting over their lockout) I am bound and determined to meet him!!!

My New Obsession

OK so, my new obsession is finding Craft Blogs! (and Yummy food blogs)... Anyway here are some pictures from some of the blogs that I follow of things that I am going to do! I don't know why but lately being crafty is all I want to do! I don't know if I have mentioned this but I have taken up knitting! That's right, I am totally a knitter now! I went over to my friends house last weekend and she taught me and now that's all I want to do! I have tried crocheting and it just was not going well for me ever but knitting is SOOOO much easier! I am making a scarf that is not the most prettiest scarf... but my friend said that I need to make an ugly one and then after that I will have had so much practice that all my other scarfs will be awesome! I also am making reusable grocery bags with cute owls on them!!! I'll put pictures up of the stuff when it is all done!

Wednesday night Jenny had her annual Witches Halloween Party! It was totally great! We do a potluck dinner with Soup, Rolls, Appetizers, and Desserts! I brought Zuppa Toscana Soup that they have at Olive Garden! It was so good, there was also a tomato basil, a chicken noodle, and a cheddar. My favorite part was that Amy brought her water chestnut bacon wrapped goodness! I literally could not stop eating them! When she walked in I was like, Amy you brought me a plate of the bacon things!?! It was a lot of fun! We played this crazy charades game and then did the gift exchange game. I ended up with this darling spider bowl that you can use to serve like dip! I LOVE IT!!! It was fun to get together and see everyone again.

Keep reading there is some AWESOME big news coming up!!!

Fall is here!!!! It has been super warm for the last several weeks, but a few days ago stormy weather rolled in and the temperature dropped!!! I think it is the first time that since Greg moved that he has finally had warmer weather than me! I mean it, it has been almost unusually warm here. Well, with the change of weather my mom decided to do her annual decorating of the front porch! We picked our pumpkins; there were 47 total!!! My mom was disappointed a little because she only got 1 really big one (she usually gets 2 or 3) and the big one we got never really went orange (its kind of a salmon color). While we were picking them we found 1 perfectly shaped pumpkin for carving! We never even knew that he existed until my mom bumped into him while walking through the garden. Some of our pumpkins cross bread so we got a huge fun mixture of pumpkins! Me and my mom kept joking because she loves the white and green pumpkins and in the Martha Stewart magazine there was an article that said, "Did you know there are other color pumpkins than Orange?" So I kept teasing my mom every time we pulled out another green one! Anyway, my mom and dad went and got the hay bails and we set up the front porch! All that we need to do now is cut down the cornstalks. My mom puts the cornstalks around the front lamp post and it is SUPER CUTE!

OK time for the big news!!! My mom's house is being featured in a Craft Blog! This very cute girl named Lynn stopped by our house the other day and told my dad that she runs a craft blog and she loves their house and wanted to take pictures of our front porch for her blog! Check it our here! I was like Oh, my Mom is going to be SOOOO excited! My mom's dream has been to get the house featured in a magazine! and we have taken the first step in that process!!! My mom came home and we told her and it was fun getting to look up the blog and see our house on it! You should all check it out! Lynn's blog is actually quite cute and I have found some fun ideas on her blog. Also all the pictures in this post I stole off her blog post! Seriously check it out!!!

Lake Pillsbury, The Move, and After 14 Years a BEAR!!!

So its officially happened, Me and Greg moved! I can now proudly say that I am unemployed and almost homeless! Being unemployed has turned out to be semi-nice; I have enjoyed not having to go to work everyday. But starting in a week I will be employed for free. I start my student teaching on Tuesday and I am really excited to be teaching! It would be nice on our bank account if I was still working though so that dampers the enjoyment of not having to go to work! It was weird today because I went back into the office and I didn't have to rush upfront to help out. We moved on the 28th and everything went almost smoothly! We had a minor incident with the budget truck people, but after it all got figured out we were back on track and heading out. We moved all of our stuff to a studio apartment where Greg will be living until I move out there. The complex is actually quite nice and Greg really likes it there. The day after we got everything moved out to California I took a two week trip up to Lake Pillsbury. It was so much fun getting to spend time at the lake! I haven't been up there for 7 years!!! and it was time for me to get back up there! All of my pseudo cousins were so grown up!!! It was great getting to see them all and to spend two weeks basking in the sun with them. We spent most of our time lounging around and getting tan, and this year we couldn't even get ourselves down to the water half of the time! I totally wake boarded this year, and we swam the lake (which me and Ann dominated at!!! Ha ha). But the best part of the trip (besides seeing everyone) was that after 14 years of going to the lake I finally got a bear story!!!! Every year I go we don't see a bear, and every year I don't go they have some crazy scary bear come into camp and eat and demolish everything! I was getting to the point that I figured that they were making up that there were even bears in the woods up there! But alas I now know for sure that there are bears at Lake Pillsbury! Everyone had gone out on the boat except for me, Jessica, Ann, Leah, Michela, and Kylie (the baby). I was looking toward the screen tent when out walked the bear right in to the upper part of our camp. I said, "Uh... there's a bear." Ann jumped out of the trailer, and Leah ran over from her tent and grabbed the baby (who was sleeping in her playpen). Michela bolted into her tent while I kept saying, "don't run, where are you going, don't run, come back, go in the trailer." I didn't know she was running to get her camera! We all started to head for the trailer and Ann grabbed pots to bang when we realized that the bear just wanted to watch us and that it was way better to sit and take pictures of it. Michela got a bunch and then Ann and Leah grabbed theirs to take a bunch, and I finally ran and got my camera and took a bunch! The bear just milled around and sniffed everything, then he left. He was actually quite cute and not scary at all! The scary part was at night because I realized how close he actually is to us! On Sunday Greg came up for the day and hung out which was awesome!!! It was one of the best parts of the trip, I was super excited for him to finally see the lake! We then drove back to Utah the day after I got home from the lake. I will be staying here till I am done with my teaching and Greg isn't going to go back till he starts work in September! All in all it was a good move and a great year at the lake!

Family Trip to the Middle of No Where!!! We Had a BLAST!

I Finally finished my post of our family trip!!!!

We went and visited Keegan's mission for two weeks and boy did we have a blast! My parents, Keeg, and Greg all left on Friday and drove from PG to Rapid City in one day. I didn't leave with them because I had my praxis the next day so I had to stay behind to take my test. I took my test Saturday morning and then I flew to Rapid and met up with them Saturday night! I took longer to get there than I thought because of two delayed flights! It was a bummer but I finally got there. We spent some time in Rapid City, South Dakota. While in South Dakota we got to see Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse. When we were done in Rapid we drove up to Mandan/Bismarck, North Dakota and from there we drove to Minot, ND. After spending a few days in Minot we drove back through Bismarck and on through to Rapid. We spent the night in Rapid and then headed out to Alliance, Nebraska. We spent time in Alliance. I couldn't figure out why anyone would want to live in Alliance, but it ended up being my favorite place that we went. After we left Alliance we headed up to Casper, Wyoming. While in Casper we spent time at Martin's Cove! It was great getting to go there. When we were done in Casper we drove through Cody, Wyoming and headed our way to Yellowstone. But when we got to the East entrance they had just had an avalanche an hour earlier, we had just missed it! Because of the avalanche they closed down a bunch of roads so we had to drive back to Cody and then from Cody up into Montana and then through Livingston and Billings Montana to get to the North entrance and back into Yellowstone. We spent a day in Yellowstone and then headed to Idaho to see my Aunt Rosalie. It was fun getting to end the trip seeing her! All in all it was a great trip!!!

When we were in Rapid City we spent one day going to a few museums and we went to Wall. Which was a City in South Dakota which has a fun drugstore called Wall Drug. It was fun getting to see Rapid and Wall

When we were on our way to Mt. Rushmore we stopped off and took some pictures with these HUGE statues of the presidents!

Mt. Rushmore was AMAZING!!!!! We had so much fun when we were there! We did the whole hike up and around the mountain and everything! I had a blast seeing it! Also Mom got to see her first real Mountain Goat which she's always wanted to see! I don't think he was so excited to see us!

After we went to Mt. Rushmore we went and saw Crazy Horse! It was crazy! they have been building it for years and it is still not even close to being done! While we were there you can go into the home of the original architect and inside there was this cat curled up on the couch! I was like what the heck they even put a fake cat in the house and then the fake cat started to move! It was totally an alive cat. Keegan hoped the rope and we took an incriminating photo of the awesome cat! She totally loved being rubbed and I could have sat with the cat the whole time we were there!

After we went to Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse we drove the Animal Loop in Custards State Park. I Loved it!!!! We saw so many animals! We saw tons and tons and tons of buffalo! But the best part was when we came across the wild burrows! they totally came right up to us and let us pet them!!! They were the best part of the animal loop. We fed the donkeys ALL of our apples! They were amazing.

When we were in North Dakota we went and saw the Lewis and Clark museum and we went and saw Fort Mandan; which is the fort they built during the Lewis and Clark expedition! It was awesome to see! it was also cool to see the Missouri River!

While we were in Bismarck we went to the temple! It was cute and tiny! and it was great getting to go see the temple that is in keeg's mission.

When we were done in Minot we came back through Bismark and saw Myrna's family! All of her sisters except Judy came to Kathy's house and made an awesome dinner for us! It was CRAZY seeing all of Myrn's sisters in the same room! and it was way fun getting to see them all!

After we were done with Myrna's family we left Bismark and drove back to Rapid City. The next morning we got up and left for Alliance Nebraska! Alliance is a tiny little railroad town in NE.

When we were in Alliance we went to the one and only tourist site there... Carhenge! It is this replica of Stonehenge made out of real cars out in the middle of no where! It was way fun getting to finally see it! We climbed all over the cars, and Keegan made it to the top of the "Yellow car"... Well... Almost!

We were going to stay at this small RV park while we were in Alliance for the weekend, but The Weaver's invited us to stay on their farm. When we first arrived there to visit they showed us around the farm at all of their animals! We got to see a calf be born the first night we were there! I think they thought we were crazy because we ran around looking at all of the animals like we had never seen an animal before! The Weaver's were amazing, and we had a great time with them!

When we were done with Alliance we left and headed toward Casper Wyoming! We got to visit with several of Keegan's families because the Flannigans threw Keeg a party. It was fun getting to see the Flannigans again!

While we were at Casper we took a whole day and went to Martin's Cove! It was awesome!!! We saw Devil's Gate and everything! I have to say it was FREEZING while we were there! It was fun getting to see the actual site.

We left Casper and we were going to go through the East entrance and cut across Yellowstone to get into Idaho to see my Aunt Rosalie, but they had an avalanche so we couldn't get in... This meant that we had to drive 13 hours back through Wyoming and up through Montana! This was one set back we didn't expect to happen.

While in Montana we stayed at the first KOA Kampground ever! It also was probably the nicest campground that we stayed in.

We finally made it across Montana and when we got to Billings we headed south and entered Yellowstone through the North Entrance. Yellowstone was awesome. We saw buffalo, elk, deer, a coyote, and a wolf!!! The only things we didn't see was a Bear (that we just missed) and a moose! It was fun, we got to see upper and lower falls, and we saw Mammoth hot springs, and finished with Old Faithful! I have to say that seeing the wolf was one of the coolest parts of the whole Yellowstone section of the trip. My parents want to take a Yellowstone trip next summer so that we can spend a week there, not just 1 day!

We then went and saw upper and lower falls! the water falls were cool! and we got some great scenic pictures!

When we were leaving the falls and heading towards Old Faithful my mom totally spotted a wolf! It was awesome to stop and see him! When we were driving there I had said that I wanted to see a bear, a wolf, and a moose! I totally got to check him off my list!

We also saw a coyote way out in the distance while driving to Old Faithful! He was running up and down the stream trying to catch (what I assume was fish) in the stream.

Keegan wasn't there during the last buffalo drive (he slept through it) so we stopped for him to get some pictures with the buffalo! There were so many of them on this trip, we pretty much found them EVERYWHERE!!! Also when we were in Yellowstone we found one of the buffalo walking down the middle of the road. He was totally irritated that we wanted to drive around him, he kept looking at us like... um... you are in my way!

We finished up Yellowstone watching Old Faithful! I have always wanted to see him so it was fun getting to! After we watched Old Faithful we got something to eat over by the Old Faithful gift shop.

We finished the trip up in Idaho! My grandpa's sister my Aunt Rosalie lives in St. Anthony's Idaho which is right outside of Rexburg. It was fun getting to see my Aunt Rosalie! I've missed her! I also got to see Rexburg!!! I've never been up there and I have some good friends from there so it was fun getting to see where they are from! Also they have a Frontier Pies! I miss ours and it was GREAT getting to go eat there!!!! It was a great way to end the trip!!!

We made it back!!! I am going to post tonight or tomorrow after I get all of the pictures we took on my computer!!! But when we were in Alliance Nebraska we went to these peoples house and when we walked in they had a dog that looked exactly like a wheaten terrier!!!! I said what type of dog is he??? and they said a Irish Terrier! I said, wholly cow, I thought it was a wheaten... and they said the only difference between the two is that the Irish has coarser hair and the Irish is more mild mannered! When we were sitting there he jumped up and snuggled up to Greg and they made perfect friends!!! My goodness, I want one SOOOO BAD!!!!!!!!! Plus they are the perfect size! I need one so bad! here's some pictures so you can see how cute they are!

I finally finished it!!! Last June I decided that I wanted to make my Mom and me each a cookbook! I wanted a cookbook that me and Greg could add our favorite recipes; almost like a family cookbook. I then wanted to make my mom one! Well, I gave it to her for Christmas but it was totally not done! and I finally finished it!!! I am Super excited!!! It turned out way excited! I now need to finish mine! Anyway I just wanted to put up some pictures so you can see it (although I feel like the pictures do not do the cookbook justice!).

KEEGAN CAME HOME!!!!!!!!!

He came home a week ago last Thursday! (I know I am totally behind in posting this since he’s been home for over a week and a half!). It was sooo much fun getting to go up to the airport and pick him up!

He came home with two other missionaries from his mission; Elder Grant and Elder Seguin. We all were upstairs in the airport and the TWA guys were freaking out about the amount of people up there so Elder Grant’s family went down stairs! Then Keegan came out and we were all excited and giving him hugs and stuff and Elder Seguin’s family was doing the same and Elder Grant was looking at us all like, “Where is my fam!?” We told him to keep going down the stairs and they would be right there! We brought signs and balloons for him and we took tonz of pictures! It was way crazy getting to see him! We took pictures for awhile and then we took off to American Fork; us and Elder Grants family were going to Rodizio Grill for dinner together and we were going to meet them there. On the way Ted road in Dylan’s car and me, Greg and Keegan were with mom! On the way home we stopped at the new Trafalga and took a picture of Keeg with the Mount Rushmore statue they have. Mom and Greg then thought it would be funny to make us chase the care which turned into me and Keeg walking behind the car for a quarter mile!!! Pretty much we had already broken Keegan back in! We got to Rodizio’s and we ate there! It was quite the experience for my Mom who is practically a Vegetarian!!! It was fun and I actually tried Chicken Hearts!!! It wasn’t that good, take it from me… Although, if I didn’t know what I was eating I think it would have been better! After dinner we went to Target to get Keeg some toiletries; he left his in Bismarck on the transfer train the night before and was out of everything except a toothbrush! Then we went home and hung out until we took him that night to get released. After he was released we had a bunch of people come over to see him and for cheesecake!!! After everyone left me, Greg, Mom and Keeg staid up and talked way late! I finally had to leave since I had work at 8am the next morning.

The next day my mom took Keeg shopping and then on Sunday me and Greg went over and watched conference with my family! It was fun getting to spend the weekend hanging out with them. Last Wednesday I called and was talking with Keeg and he was like I am going to call Greg and see if he wants to go skiing with me? He did and they decided to go on Friday. So on Thursday Keeg came over and spent the night! We went and got pizza and watched Inception. It was totally fun! Greg and Keeg had a blast skiing! They both came back sun burnt!!! (Greg is more sun burnt than Keegan; explain that one??? I don’t get it). And they are both super sore! But both of them had so much fun and want to go again! We went over to my parents again today and we watched DRAGONS!!! Which happens to be the best movie ever! It was fun! And I think Keegan liked it!

I got my student teaching assignment!!!!!!! We had a student teaching orientation last Wednesday, and I had been told that we weren’t getting our assignments then because it had been so hard to place us all. Well I got there pretty early and they gave me my folder and inside was my assignment! Anyone want to guess where I am going??? Ok I’ll totally just tell you! Mt. View High School!!! That’s right! I could not be anymore happier! I was probably the happiest person there! I wanted to be somewhere close, which I am and I wanted a to be at a high school which I am and I didn't want to be at PG or AF because I know people and I wanted a school where I don't know everyone, which I am!!! I didn’t think I’d get into a high school, there wasn’t many of us that did and I totally was one of the ones that did. A few of the high school people are still pending and not only did I get a high school, I am not pending either! It pretty much rocks! I also have a friend in the department who has a daughter who goes there and she’s like what if you have my daughter??? That would be awesome! And there are several people who know my cooperating teacher and they all said he is AWSOME!!! I am super excited and happy!

Keeg’s homecoming is on Sunday!!! We were going to have a party for mine and Greg’s graduation and then we realized that we would be doing a party next Sunday for Keeg’s homecoming and then a party the next Saturday for me and Greg… So we decided to combine the parties and have one BIG party for all three of us! I am super excited!!! I made announcements for the party with my mom; we were at a scrapbook store and saw these handmade wedding announcements that they had there and stole the idea from them. I feel like the colors are super ugly together, but what can you do when BYU is blue and white and UVU is green and yellow!?! I loved how we were able to send out a combine announcement and still have them be individualized for all three of us!

Just so everyone knows it is this Sunday, April 17, 2011 at 4:30pm at my parents house!!! Everyone feel free to come! Everyone is totally invited!

Catch Up, My Puppy! and some BIG EXCITING NEWS!!!!

So I need to do some catching up since it's been a while since I've posted on here! Valentine’s was AWESOME!!! I have the best husband in the world and he gave me the best gift in the world! We decided to celebrate Valentine’s on Saturday since we both had school and work on Monday. We decided to do presents when we got up. I gave Greg an electric knife to cut bread (we make bread in our bread machine and we’ve wanted one) and I got him Pizookie makers! I don’t know if you’ve been to BJ’s Pizza but they make these cookies with ice cream and they are awesome! Anyway I got him one of those and it came with the two cast-iron pans and handle pot holders. So I know they aren’t the greatest of gifts but we usually try to do smaller gifts on Valentine’s since we are just coming off of Christmas… Well Greg loved both of them and we made awesome Pizookies that night that were super yummy!

Well then Greg said to me, “I don’t have a gift for you. Your gift is what we are going to do today!” I was like “Ok, what are we going to do???”

Greg proceeded to tell me that we are going on a shopping spree to buy me new clothes. He had saved up about $500 for me to use and go shopping all day! It was AWESOME!!!! We went shopping for like 9 hours! And I got some awesome clothes! I got 6 pairs of jeans including a black pair. I got 4 pairs of shoes including a new pair of Tom’s (the burlap ones!!!). I got a new dress. I got 2 stripped T-shirts and 2 long sleeved striped T-shirts. I got a whole new set of garments (10 Pairs!!!!!!!!!!!). I got new silver stud earrings. I got a new shirt and a way cut new sweater. I got two new cardigans. I got two new pairs of sweats and a cute pair of pajama pants. The best part was my new diamond earrings that Greg picked out!!! It was the best Valentine’s gift ever!

Then we went out to dinner that night. I have been wanting to go to this place called Yamato for a really long time. They are up by the mall and me and my mom have gone there a few times for lunch. They sell Japanese food that is SUPER GOOD and actually not to expensive (it’s about $8 a plate, so it’s not Wendy’s cheap but it is cheaper then eating at like Chilis or Olive Garden and the food is super good and authentic!). Greg loved it there! He got the teriyaki chicken and I got the veggi and shrimp tempora and we split a Salmon roll (sushi!). It was super good!

We went home and made a chocolate chip Pizookie and I had made chocolate chip homemade ice cream that we ate while we watched Salt. All in all it was an AWESOME Valentines!

Last weekend we went to Greg’s parent’s house for the extended weekend! His brother was coming home from his mission and his sister had got home from her mission 2 weeks before. It was their homecoming on Sunday and we got to go down there for it! It was really fun getting to see everyone!!! Both Derek and Andie did great on their talks and the after homecoming party was way fun. I got to see my old roommate Eva!!! It was super fun getting to catch up with her. Their dog Maddie is getting so big and she is super cute!!!

So I am getting a dog when I move!!! Greg isn’t so sure about the whole thing but I told him that he can either be a part of the decision or it will get decided for him! So today I spent some time looking for breeds of dogs that are good for apartments (since we’ll probably get a town house or Condo we won’t have a yard or if we do it will be small so we want to get an indoor dog that will be mild tempered and good!). Well I did some research today and me and Greg have some in mind! We both like big dogs but since it has to be an indoor do we wanted to find a dog that was good to be inside but wasn’t super small. We’ve got two in mind!

The first one I came across that I liked is the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier! I have never even imagined I’d have a dog like this but he is super cute and I love him! And I could see me and him going to the park together!!!! He seems pretty well tempered and they don’t shed which is nice. They also are not super small but not super big!

The second one that I found that Greg really likes (and more likely to happen) is the English Bulldog!!!! He sheds more than the other one and we would have to clean his wrinkles but he is also super well tempered and he is smaller so he might be better for the condo that we are living in! Plus how can you say no to that super cute face!!!!

So the BIG EXCITING NEWS!!!! On Friday we found out that Keegan got into BYU!!!!!! Yay! Since Keegan applied Greg has been getting on the student directory to see if he had made it in. On Friday night Greg got on and up popped Keegan!!! So I called my mom and was like, “Has Keegan made it into BYU???” My mom got on and sure enough she had just received his acceptance letter! My mom called one of the missionaries in Keeg’s mission and told him to tell Keeg! She then also called the Flannigans and told them and they called Keeg and told him and he is WAY excited!!! I am so happy and SUPER EXCITED for him!!! Me and Greg had been getting worried since we have been checking the student directory for the last couple of weeks and he hadn’t been showing up. But HE MADE IT!!!!!!!!

Best Girls Night EVER!!!

So me, Emily, Jessica, and Kelley all get together once a month for a Girls Night! We had this months on Friday! We usually get together with full good intentions of watching a movie and painting our nails, but it usually turns into painting our nails and not watching the movie! We painted our nails pink for Valentine's Day and I put cute hearts on or toe nails and finger nails! We had a blast and our nails turned out super cute! Kelley was driving to Logan that night so she only stayed for a little bit then she took off; we totally missed her once she was gone! It was great getting together and actually getting to see each other... It has been awhile! Here's a few pics of the finished product!!! (Kelley left before we painted her nails... Kell, you have to be at the next one!)

Attack of Herpangina!!!!!

The day after I posted the last post me and my good friend Emily went to a movie. We went and saw Tangled super cute!!! You should go see it! We went and got some food first since it was late in the afternoon and neither one of us had eaten. While at the food court I told the guy at the register that I couldn't eat anything cuz I have a Canker Sore on my Uvula. The guy just looked at me funny! Emily said, "You have got to stop saying that to people!" It was super funny, but the best part of the story comes later....

The canker sore spread and I started growing these pussy pockets on the right side of my throat. I told Dave the FNP at my work that it was getting worse and spreading and he said to talk with Star another one of our FNP's at my work. Star took one look at it and was like, "I know what that is. You've got Herpangina." Apparently Herpangina is a virus that causes canker sores along and down your throat. It lasts about 2 weeks and there is nothing they can do for it! She wrote me a RX for a mouth rinse that was to help numb the cankers so I could at least try to eat saying I was five days in and hadn't eaten anything.

Anyway back to the funnyness of the situation... I had told Greg about the Uvula story and when I called him and told him I had Herpangina he was all, "now you have another word for Emily!" I laughed and called and told her the whole story and she said she will not take me anywhere until I'm better because she does NOT want to be there when I tell people that I have sores on my Uvula because I have Herpangina!

In reality it is now just starting to feel better. The rinse really does help. The sores did spread all over and the ones on my left side of my throat are the worse because they are the youngest!Hopefully by Saturday I will be Herpangina FREE!!!!!!!!

Christmas and more...

For Christmas we went to California this year so me and Greg celebrated Christmas with my parents the Saturday before! It was going AWESOME until I got SUPER SICK!!! It was horrible we woke up to open gifts and I was so sick that I literally just laid there and hardly opened anything! Me and Greg decided to put our Christmas budgets together and buy a flat screen T.V. I'll have to ask Greg if the details are right but I think it is a 46 inch Plasma... It sure is a beauty! My mom gave Greg a Blue Ray and we also got a surround sound system to go with it! I gave Greg Inception and Sorcerers Apprentice on Blue Ray and I made him this thing that holds jars for our counter that he can put his Protean drink mix in. I also gave him his annual calendar! Greg gave me DISNEYLAND TICKETS!!!! We were going to use them while we were down there but... IT RAINED THE WHOLE TIME! So we are going to go when we go back in February! With the tickets I got the Character breakfast, lunch at the Blue Bayou, and the Firework dinner thing! My mom got me a new comforter, some new Cricket cartridges, and WII FIT!!! Greg got a ton of tools to work on the car with! and Greg got me NETFLICKS!!! Pretty much we got spoiled!

Here we are on Christmas morning... Please remember that we just woke up and I am totally sick!

At Greg's parents they have a tradition of going over to Greg's uncle's house on Christmas Day for a big Christmas party with the whole extended family! It's fun because we get to see the cousins and Greg's Aunts and Uncles! Dale and Margarite always throw a great party and they get awesome gifts for everybody!

This year was just as awesome as the last one!

For Christmas Steph got a DOG!!!!! Yeah way excited! On Monday after Christmas Brian, Me, Rachel, and Stephanie went to the shelter and picked out her way cute dog! She's a German Shepherd Mix and they named her Maddie. I think anyway! She is one of the cutest puppies I have ever seen!

So on Saturday the roof of my mouth started hurting extremely bad, and then by Sunday morning it had moved to my throat. I decided to do some investigating and look what I discovered on my uvula... or what ever it is called. Anyway I believe that it is a cancer sore. One of the FNP's at work said it was that or a cyst and to watch it, but further examination I believe that is what it is! It hurts like crazy though and I can't seem to eat ANYTHING!!! Hopefully it goes away quickly!

A Sad Day!!!

On Friday the Provo Tabernacle burned down on... It is so sad, not only was it a beautiful building but it was a huge part of Provo's and Utah's history. I haven't seen it yet, I don't know if I want to... But as of right now it has completely burned down. I don't know if they'll even rebuild it! that's the saddest part is that it is gone. A few years ago I had to do a project for my Utah History class and I took some pictures of Tabernacle... I just thought I'd put some of the pics I took up here.

Thanksgiving Weekend!!! A Much Needed Break!

Me and Greg had an awesome weekend! It was probably the best weekend I’ve had for a while! I did almost NOOOO homework (I had to squeeze one lesson plan in on Sunday) and it was SOOO nice not having to do any homework for four days. Greg had stayed at work extra time on Tuesday doing some extra work so that he could come home a little early on Wednesday. That meant our weekend started at 7:30 on Wednesday! We spent the night hanging out and spending time together, I unfortunately fell asleep somewhat early… I had several late nights building up to my knocking out. I woke up at 4:30 Thursday morning wide awake. I forced myself to sleep until 7… What a bummer huh, I finally get to sleep in and I can’t sleep. So I decided to get up and work on my relish tray, dips (I made hummus, black bean dip, white bean dip, an avocado dip, and ranch), and to make breakfast. I had made the pie the night before (of course a whip cream raspberry pie). I made a yummy breakfast and then it was now 9 am so I got Greg up and turned on the parade. After breakfast I cut Greg’s hair! That’s right I cut his hair! And it doesn’t look that bad!!! Greg is excited because he says that now we will save $15 a month… I think he is really excited because he doesn’t have to go get his hair cut (he hates talking and being touched by strangers… not conducive to haircuts). The hair cutting was slightly stressful, but Greg says that he thinks I’ll get better and better as we do it more. He thinks I did a great job; I only made one mistake and no one can find it! Greg says that I only notice because I know it’s there! After the hair cut, we headed over to my parents. My mom set the most beautiful table! Myrna did most of the food and pies; I did the relish tray and one pie. It was fun, Myrna came with Cassie and Christy. We ate WAY TO MUCH FOOD!

Friday Greg wanted to get in on the black Friday action. We didn’t really get much but we sure went and looked (but we slept in till 8 we didn’t do any of that 4 am craziness). We went and looked at Best Buy and Target and Walmart. After we went shopping Greg drove me to get our Christmas decorations and we put them up. It was all going well until we plugged in the tree and 2/3s of the lights didn’t work!!!! It took us until Sunday to get it all lit.

Saturday we went to my parents and watched the BYU game! It was AWFUL! But I had a great time. I made hot wings (buffalo style and sweet and tangy BBQ), wrapped mini sausages, and bruchetta! It was way good. I unfortunately forgot to take pictures of all the food; all I got was the wings after we ate them all.

During the game me and Libby snuggled!!! I love her!!! I'd bring her home if I could!

Sunday I did some homework… blah! But that night We decorated our tree! We played Christmas music and the tree looks great!

And I put up the new pieces of my Nativity Set that my mom got me on Saturday. I got Wise Men!!!!!

The best part is that it finally snowed!!!!!!!!!!!! FINALLY!!!!!!!!! Tuesday we were suppose to have the end all storm! It was suppose to be the biggest BLIZZARD (yes they were calling it a blizzard) that Utah has seen in 10 years. BYU shut down at 3 and then UVU got on the train and shut down at 4, there were businesses around the area that were shutting down early too!!! And guess what… IT DIDN’T SNOW!!!!!!! It was crazy! But after that let down it finally snowed on Sunday! It really helped get me in the Christmas spirit!!! All in all it was an awesome weekend and it was horrible going back to work today!

Cancun Mexico!!!! Me and Greg spent 7 of our 10 day honeymoon here! It was amazing! I was only suppose to do a picture but I couldn't pick which one! Also can you believe that I've been posting this long??? 200th post pretty crazy!

P.S. there isn't anyone else in the world I would EVER want to go to Cancun with more then with my HOT SEXY LUBSTERS!!!!

Ok... I don't know what happened to it but my voice is GONE!!! COMPLETELY! I hate it! I had the flu over the weekend and Sunday I felt so much better BUT my voice was leaving me! Monday I sounded like a man! but by Monday night it was completely GONE, and it has yet to come back! the future doesn't look good! UHRRGGG. I've decided that I am now going to have to be a choice mute... except I definitely am not choosing this...

DRAGONS WEEKEND!!!!!!!!!!! It was AMAZING!!!! + Twilight Up Date...

So BIG news!!!! Dragons came out on Friday! Yes you heard me right it came out on Friday!!! Of course Greg had got it for me in JULY!!! for our anniversary so it was being mailed to us... But when I got home from work Greg was like I left something in the glove box can you get it for me and when I opened it there it was!!! He had got on the red box at Midnight and rented it for us for the weekend until ours came in the mail! I got it in the mail yesterday! It is official... ITS MY FAVORITE MOVIE OF ALL TIME!!! IT EVEN BEATS OUT LION KING! and that's saying something! So me and Greg watched it 4 times over the weekend... It pretty much was ALWAYS on. I have watched it SOOOO much in the last week and I am NOT sick of it at all. I don't think I will ever be able to get sick of it! Anyway, it was a great weekend!

So the TWILIGHT news! OK the DVD of Eclipse comes out December 4th! Now Breaking Dawn: Part I comes out on November 18th 2011! Yes that's right that is over a year away. Then Breaking Dawn: Part II comes out the same weekend but in 2012... Lame sauce I know...

So me and Greg made Paninis! They were AMAZING! and yummy! Its been a bummer lately because Greg has class late and then he has to go to work so I haven't been cooking lately... SAD I KNOW! Well Rachael awesome talks to the trees (you should all check out her blog... I love it!) posted how she made a good bye summer dinner and it gave me the motivation to cook... I am just not motivated when I am the only one home!

In the spirit of cooking I made these awesome chocolate cheesecake brownie yummy goodness! Jenny had a witch party and I was asked to bring a dessert and so I made these... and they turned out to be pretty good! I have to say that I love them!

So the a couple of weeks ago Jenny had her Annual Witch party!!! It was WAY FUN! Plus I got to see some people I NEVER get to see. We went on a Road Rally/Scavenger Hunt type thing and here are some pictures of the madness! It was great and the food was amazing! Amy made these bacon things that were so good! They were water chestnuts wrapped in bacon covered in this caramelized yummy goodness stuff! I don't know what it was but I DON'T EAT BACON! so you know they were AMAZING! I couldn't stop my self... I just kept eating them!

So at work today we had our office staff meeting, and we all had to present what we liked and what we thought the office could benefit from that motivation seminar FOREVER AGO! So... Me and Emily decided to present together! We both wanted to do Colin Powell and we both liked the same stuff that he said, so it was obviously meant to be!

We decided to talk about how he was from Harlem and he rose up to be the Secretary of State. We talked about how it doesn't matter where you come from what matters is where you end up! We also talked about how he told this story about how this cute Mexican girl use to clean his office when he was Secretary of State and how her job was just as important as his. and how he couldn't do his job without her doing her job.

So... in honor of him being from Harlem we decided to tell all of this in a rap! and it was AWESOME! It was way funny! and we totally pulled it off! We wore bandannas and sunglasses and had some beat boxing to boot. To make it even better we ended up being last! No one knew that when they came to work today there would be live entertainment!!! Emily wrote the lyrics and they were AMAZING! I told her that she should quit her day job and move to New York and write songs for famous people... Except that would mean she would leave me at work WITHOUT HER!!! and that's no good! Anyway I was so blown away by how beautiful her lyrics were I thought I'd post them for all to see!

I'm slightly OBSESSED!!! The only problem is that you can only get one of their albums on Itunes... the rest are not offered in the United States!!! What I know! So I have to resort to listening to all of their stuff on YouTube! You can hear their song Creep - originally by Radiohead on The Social Network preview. They are an all girls Belgian choir, made up of 200 girls from ages 16 to 26, with the two Kolacny Brothers who one plays the piano and one conducts.

The Moving Wall

In my Vietnam class this guy let us know that the Moving Wall would be here this weekend! So, since I really wanted to see it me and Greg went and saw it today. It was really neat to get to see and it made me want to see the real one SOOO bad. It was really cool to get to see it. On the first day of my Vietnam class my teacher asked who had seen the Vietnam Memorial or any of the traveling walls? and the very next class this guy Kevin was like the Moving Wall is going to be here in a few weeks. It was awesome to get to see. It will be here till tomorrow so if you get the chance I'd suggest you go.

I LOVE my Vietnam class, I have really enjoyed it! and I feel like I am really learning so much. Plus I think this is the best reading I have ever had for any class... We have a bunch of stuff to read but so far Patriots by Christian Appy and The things they carried by Tim O'Brian have been my favorite! Patriots really makes you look at The Vietnam War differently. And I'm only 60 or so pages into O'Brian but I love it, I can't put it down. I would suggest them to anyone.

My parents have been wanting to take us out for dinner for our birthdays (since the huge crab feast wasn't enough!!!!) But then my mom totally got sick and then I've been sick so we never got to go. But today I was feeling some what better and Ted and my mom had invited us to go to the BYU game so we decided to do lunch instead. We went to Olive Garden where I had my usual soup and salad! They have the best soup ever! Then we headed over to the game! It was SOOOOOO hot!!!! But by half time it the sun had gone down enough that it was not so bad! The game was against U of W and it was a really good game! Not going to lie at first our boys weren't doing so hot but then we warmed up and kicked some booty! I find that they do it to freak the other team out, play 10 crappy minutes and then do a 180 and be AMAZING... it messes with their heads! It was WAY fun! The final score was 23 to 17!!! GO COUGARS!

Park City Birthday Trip!!!! And Birthday Catch up!

For my birthday Greg gave me a weekend get-away to Park City! It was way fun!!! We stayed at the Canyon's Resort. Our hotel room was way nice, and it was way fun getting to spend the weekend swimming in the pool! Friday we drove up after I got off work. We spent the afternoon swimming. A storm rolled in and it started pouring rain!!! But that didn't stop us from swimming! I finally convinced Greg that we were going to get electrocuted and we decided to go in and get dressed so we could go to dinner. We wanted Chili's really bad so we drove over the hill into Midvale. They have this new yummy soup that I really wanted! Saturday we spent the morning sleeping in and watching T.V., we ate donuts and had chocolate milk for breakfast. It was SOOOO nice just getting to sleep in and relax. We then got up and went to the alpine slide (see pictures below! Sorry I look SO terrible in all of them, I forgot my make up in my quick packing job... and it was my relaxing weekend off and I had been swimming!). The Alpine Slide was AWESOME! Except for the scary ride up the ski lift! It was way fun, I had never done the one here and Greg hadn't been for years so it was way fun to get to go! After we were done with the slide we spent the entire afternoon at the pool. Pretty much laying out in the sun was our whole concern for the weekend. That night we went and had dinner at this cute little restaurant on main st. We ate YUMMY Calamari and Greg got a three cheese pizza and I got a HUGE meatball sub! It was super good! After sleeping in the next morning we got up and made it home! It was the perfect weekend trip and a great way to kick off starting off school!

For my birthday Greg gave me exactly what I wanted... To sleep in! It was amazing! He then made me breakfast in bed. we went and had lunch at JDawgz and after that we went and saw DRAGONS!!!!!! (Only the BEST movie EVER!!!!) After the movie we went to Tacanos for dinner! It was way yummy and I ate myself into a happy oblivion!

For Greg's birthday we went to Seven Peaks! It was fun since I haven't been there for YEARS! and Greg's never been there! I do have to say we spent most of our time frolicking in the wave pool. That night we went to a wedding reception of a good friends of Greg's and then we hit up Tacanos AGAIN!!! It was crazy, twice in one week! It was funny cuz we have a girl that just started working at our work about a month and a half ago and she had told me her husband worked there, anyway he totally ended up one of our servers! It was Super fun. I made Greg an ice cream cake so we went back and had YUMMY ice cream cake to top it all of!!! Our birthdays were super fun this year!

Ok It's not official but at school today I found out that I think I will be graduating in April 2011!!!!! That's right this April! Now remember I said that it's not official but I had been told to walk you had to have everything done by August but... I was now told by some people that are in my program that they are doing their student teaching in the fall but that they are aplying to graduate for April! I am SOOOO excited! The next cool part! I think I'm going to do a minor! I only have to do two more classes! and then I can get a minor in American Studies! So in April I may be graduating with my degree in History Education with a Minor in American Studies! I can't beleive it! Now I said that this wasn't official! So I may be jumping the gun a bit but I was just so EXCITED!!!

Time to Bring Greg HOME!!!!!!!!!!! And We Got the OFFER!!!!!!! oh... and Birthdays! P.S. It's a Long One!!!!!!!

Greg's HOME!!!!!!!!!!! Well actually he's been home for about 2 weeks now and we actually moved into our apartment on the 16th... but since I'm totally behind in posting I'm going to start with our "bring Greg home birthday" trip!

Me, My mom and my dad all went to San Jose and brought Greg home! It was fun we went out on Thursday August 14th and came back on Sunday! (my parents flew home and me and Greg drove back)!!! On Thursday my mom had a big work meeting in Walnut Creek with her accountants... She and they were way excited since they've been working with each other and had never met each other!

Also on Friday Greg got his offer!!!!!! You are now looking at the newest wife of an auditor for Deloitte!!! We were SOOOOOO excited that he got it! So it official it looks like we are going to be moving to San Jose next fall! I am so proud of Greg! He did a great job with his internship this summer and has made so many new friends and contacts! Congratulations BABES!!!!!!!!!!

On Friday we went down to San Jose since Greg only had to work till noon! (I TOOK PICS OF THIS BUT THEY ARE ON A DIFFERENT CAMERA AND I CAN'T GET THEM OFF... I'LL POST THEM WHEN I CAN) Anyway, we went and saw where Greg worked and then we went over to a place called Santana Row, It's a way trendy shopping mall area! We also went to the Cheese Cake Factory and went and saw Inception (AGAIN IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THIS YOU MUST!!!) On Saturday we took a day trip to San Francisco! It was way fun and we got to do some WAY FUN STUFF! For our Birthday presents this year me and Greg got tickets to Alcatraz and to go see Wicked!!!! (on the 5th row!!! It was awesome you could see everything! It was just as amazing the second time around!)

When we first got to San Fran we went and found Lombard Street! I have to say it was way fun driving down it! I hadn't been and I don't think Ted had either! I totally jumped out and took a picture of us driving down the road and stopped traffic!

After we did Lombard St. we had some time to kill before we had to be on the boat to go to Alcatraz, so... we headed over to Coit tower! none of us had been up there and I was surprised it was so easy to get to! It was funny while we were climbing the steps to the tower they stairs were made out of bricks with names of people who have contributed to the tower and guess who has... None only then my WAY CUTE HUSBAND! We of course had to get some rad pics of his name stamped into the brick! We were going to go up the tower but the line was long and we had a boat to catch!

We then went out to Alcatraz and spent almost 4 hours over there! the boat ride was way fun there, we sat on top so that Ted could see the bay and the Golden Gate Bridge that he's never seen before even though he's worked there a couple of times! It was pretty windy but I was surprised that it wasn't that chilly! Alcatraz was WAY FUN, it was fun getting to walk around and see all the different stuff they have there. But I'm not going to lie it's pretty much a cement island! It was cool going with Greg, my mom and Ted since all three of them hadn't been there before! I hadn't been there since I was 17.

After Alcatraz we went out to our Birthday/Celebrate Greg's New Job dinner at a restaurant at Fisherman's Wharf called the FRANCISCAN!!!!!!! This just happens to be my FAVORITE place to eat in San Francisco! I am SOOOOO excited that we will being living some what close! Because I will have to be going to eat there when Greg's rolling in the big doe with his new cool job! We all got the specials, It comes with a Salad and entree and a Dessert! I got the Crab Enchilada as did my mom and Greg and Ted got the Fish and Chips. When me and my mom were there last August they had the Crab on the Special... So... Since they have the BEST CRAB IN THE WORLD we also had to get that too! We Got the CRAB FEAST which was HUGE! and we devoured it! They're crab is amazing they Cook it way different then I've ever seen it cooked and it is just FABULOUS!!!!!!

After dinner we were going to do a quick drive across the bridge before the show but since the bridge was full of traffic we just pulled over and took pictures. It was fun still since Ted had never seen the bridge!

Then we were off to see Wicked, which was AMAZING! Our tickets where right in the middle and were only 5th row back! you could see EVERYTHING down to the sweat on their faces! The cast did a fabulous job! Our tickets also got us into the VIP lounge and gave us a free drink before the show and at intermission. The bar tender guy also gave us free red vines and m&m's It was Amazing!

The next day me and Greg made our way home! what was suppose to be a quick ride turned into quite a long one! We ended up having to get two new tires before we could go and so we didn't get out of town until like 2ish... It was a long drive. Not only that but I ended up with an awful migraine right in the middle of it all! but it did subside and we did make a fun stop in Reno and ate at in'n'out! I do have to say that I don't get why anyone would want to live in Reno!

My mom had ran down it once when she was in San Fran for a race when she was young, and Greg had walked down it once before! It was fun, I totally jumped out and took pics of the car driving down!

As we were walking up the steps to the tower there were all these bricks with names of the people who helped fund the tower and we found out that Greg was one of them!!! We didn't go up the tower because we had to be in line for Alcatraz and we didn't have time, but we got to walk around inside the bottom of it!

So... We got home and moved back into our apartment! I have to say though, unpacking was not quite as hard as packing! and it's been nice cuz we've got to do some fall cleaning. I swear we've really gone through some of our crap and got rid of what we don't want or need! It's been nice to clean out cubbords and shelves and drawers... Now all we need is to move over our couch!

On Tuesday it was my BIRTHDAY... Which only is the Best day of the Best year of the Best month! It was nice, I got to sleep in and Greg made me breakfast: French Toast! He gave me a weekend getaway trip this next weekend to park city! I am SOOOO excited! I was going to take him to go do the alpine slide and stuff on his birthday, but he beat me to it and we totally didn't even know the other was going to do it! We are staying in a fun hotel/time share place up there (sorry I don't remember the name) and we are going to play and rest and relax for one more fun trip this summer! I was kind of a lazy bum all morning long and then we went and got lunch at JDawgz! Which I have made the decision that we will be eating there once a month for the rest of my living time here! I have to admit I'm ADICTED!!!! And here's the best part you can now by the SECRET SAUCE!!!!!! So, I'll be buying it and bringing it with us when we move away! After a Deliciously perfect hot dawg of Secret Sause, Onions, Banana Peppers, and Sour Crout we went to Movies 8 and saw the best movie in the world... Duh Dragons! I now have seen it 7 times in the theater! (IT COMES OUT OCTOBER 26TH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OK I'M A LITTLE EXCITED) After Dragons we went to Tacanos where I therally stuffed my self! We finished the night of with cake and a movie at home! Yep pretty much that was the best day ever... JDawgz and Dragons! Can't get any better then that!

Then on Saturday it was Greg's Birthday! I got him Dragon's and Mario Galaxy 2 for his Birthday! As well as passes to 7 peaks! It was fun I haven't been in years, we're talking almost 10 years and Greg's never been. We went on the boomarang, and the toilet one... not really sure what it was called. But the highlight of the day was the wavepool, which we spent 60% of our time in. That night we headed to a wedding reception for one of Greg's accounting buddies! And then we topped that night off with Tacanos again! Yep twice in one week!!!! We were almost meated out by the end!

It's been a way fun couple of Birthday weeks with our trip and then moving and celebrating our birthdays at home! But most of all it's GREAT having Greg home!!!

Wholly Cow!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I literally started it last night and finished it last night! It was amazing, depressing, sad, STRESSFUL, and Perfect!!!! I loved it! I don't want to say anything cuz I don't want to ruin anything but WOW!!!! You must read it!

...Ok, I had to get on here and write more! I just can not beleive how horrible and amazing this was! I need everyone to read it now! anyway I'll post my oppions about everything the book + the whole series in a few days letting everyone read it with out me spoiling the greatness of it! Oh and P.S. NO MATTER WHAT DO NOT LOOK AHEAD TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS! IT IS SOOOOO BETTER THAT WAY!

OK!!!! It's true! All my time has been completely taken up by these three books! I LOVE them!!! They are AMAZING! I have to admit I am not a fantisyesc type reader and the first couple hundred pages were really a stretch for me but then I got so emotionally attached to the people with in the story and I was ADDICTED!!!!!! I mean it! I think these books changed my life! This is a big deal were talking here... Anyway, I would advise them. They're young adult fiction so they are a way easy read... So, if you are needing a break from life you should read this! Although I am warning you... It was quite a roller coaster! One I didn't know if I was going to make it out of! It was so good that at the best part I literally started screaming... Yes that's what I said screaming. My mom came down stairs and was all worried something was wrong, but NO... I was SO elaited with joy that I couldn't even continue on for awhile until I calmed down enough that I could read! I'm serious it's been quite an adventure!

Here's the awesome part, there are three books: City of Bones, City of Ashes, and City of Glass... Not only did she write those three but she is going to write THREE MORE!!!!! The fourth book comes out "Spring 2011"!!! I don't know how I'll wait that long! But to top that excitement off she is also writing a prequel trilogy to the series and book one to that comes out on the 31st! I am SOOO excited for the fourth book! and as I see it Mockingjay comes out on the 24th giving me just enough time to brush up on my hunger games, and then I'll be done with that just in time to start Clockwork Angel (the first book of the prequel to the mortal instruments series!)

I don't want to give anything away... and trust me I can't keep my mouth shut on this one so I'm going to be done but, it was AMAZING!

Lots of Reading/ Lots of Watching

It's been great, since I've been out of class the last few weeks I have been able to read a lot!!! and read what I want! I read Charlie St. Cloud... the movie was coming out and I wanted to get it done, it was good! I saw the movie too and definitely liked the book more!

I also read Drowning Ruth. It was AMAZING!!!!!

I think that this has been my favorite book that I've read all summer! It was so good, I don't want to say anything about it because I think that it's better going into it not knowing anything about it. I loved it! It has made it to probably one of my top 10 favorites.
I am now reading City of Bones. It's by Cassandra Clare and is part of the Mortal Instruments trilogy. I'm not very far into it, but my good friend texted me and said that I had to read it! So... since I had just finished Drowning Ruth and had noting to read I picked it up.

I've also been on a movie watching kick. I watched Remember Me about a month ago! I think it is great! I have to admit that when I first watched it you are pretty much wandering aimlessly... There really isn't a tangible story line. I kept thinking we're over an hour into the movie and I have no idea what is going on. And it's not a sweet little love story like the previews made it out to be. But the last 30 seconds of the movie are so shocking that it leaves you like WHAT THE HECK!!!! I literally laid in bed thinking about it for hours after I watched it, and I LOVED it the second time I saw it!

Of course I saw Eclipse... and you'd be proud I only saw it 3 times!

Me, Emily, Kelley, and Megan went and saw How to Train Your Dragon at the dollar theater on Wednesday!!! It was my 6th time seeing it! I have concluded that it is my favorite movie of all time! and I'm totally not kidding! Greg said that they've settled on a release date! October 26th... I let you know it that changes. I'm sort of sad that it is so far away! Anywho... It was Emily's and Megan's first time seeing it! and they both loved it! I'm telling you, you can't see it without falling in love with the movie! It was funny on Thursday, Em was all, "so Bri, dragons? Tonight?" I was like, "I told you, you'd be addicted!"

Me and Greg went to Inception! It was AWESOME! And I totally didn't know that Joseph Gordon Levitt was in the movie, I LOVE HIM! It rocked! This is another one of those movies that is better not knowing anything about it going into it!

You know what I also saw that I had had no desire to see??? Sherlock Holmes! It was SOOO funny! It ended and I was like, I need them to make another one! Jude Law was awesome in it!

Kelley and me went and saw Charlie St. Cloud last night... and it was OK. I found that if Zac Efron wasn't in the movie that I don't think I would have liked it. He did an amazing job. He really can act! If you want proof of his amazing acting abilities you should watch 17 Again. It just happens to be the funniest movie ever! But Charlie St. Cloud was ok, but like I said I feel like Zac Efron's acting ability was too good for the movie!

San Fran w/ Greg's Parents!

Greg's Parents came down the last Friday and Saturday of my trip! It was really good to get to see them and to show them where Greg's working! On Friday they got in to town about the time Greg got off work, so they came over and we all went out to dinner... and dessert (Chocolate is Susan's middle name). On Saturday we all got together and headed down to San Jose to show his Parents his building and to walk around the town. We gave them the awesome experience of the corner toilet, one that everyone needs to try once in their life! After walking around town for a bit we headed up to San Francisco! Susan and Brian hadn't been there since their honeymoon 28 years before. We drove across the Golden Gate Bridge and had lunch in Salsalido. Then we came back and walked around Pier 39 and Fisherman's Wharf! It was tons of fun! After walking all over the place we headed back home and drove across the Bay Bridge... It was Greg's first time across. After a quick nap we all got together for dinner! It was really fun having them come out and see where Greg is working!

Happy Anniversary!!! Can you believe we made it three years! I am going to do our three year post when I get home cuz I don't have any of our pictures here! But until then let me tell you what we did for our anniversary!

Greg had to work... BOO... But it was OK cuz it gave me a chance to come and play in San Jose! I got up at the butt crack of dawn with Greg and I went into San Jose with him! In the morning I pretty much drove around and saw downtown San Jose, and parts of Santa Clara. Greg met up with me for lunch and he took me to this cute little burger joint called Peggy Sue's. It was WAY GOOD! That afternoon I tried to find a theater to go and see a movie (not hard to guess which one) but all the theaters I found were either playing at 12:30 or 3:00! And I had to be back by 5:30 when Greg got off so that didn't work. So instead I drove to Stanford and checked out the campus... It really didn't look any different then any other University campus (except for the HUGE frat. houses). After that and a 1/2 a tank of gas (I really drove all over the place) I headed back to the parking garage place and read my book for awhile. I am reading Charlie St. Cloud, its kind of good. Anyway, Greg got out at 5:30 and we drove on the 17 for awhile... I had no idea where we were going. We were on this highway that was in the middle of a huge forest, I'm serious complete wooded area, and it was way zigzagy. That's when I saw a Sign that said 17 to Santa Cruz. I was super excited! I've wanted to go down there and check it out.

We pulled out and parked on the pier and we walked down the AWESOME boardwalk. It totally was like Lagoon on the beach. They have this HUGE boardwalk that has rides and an arcade, and all sorts of places to eat. We got yummy churros while walking on the boardwalk. After that we went out and walked down the beach on the sand. We got there about 7ish and it was starting to get chilly so we didn't get in but it was fun hanging out on the beach. It's been FOREVER since either of us has been to the beach so it was good to go! After that we headed to Chili's and ate dinner! They got an AWESOME new soup and it was SOOO GOOD! Greg got the usual (they're like Wingers sticky fingers but different) and the waiter guy kept saying WHOA that's a lot, I'll have to get you a to go box... Of course this only egged Greg on and he HAD to finish them! He came out of there STUFFED!

Guess what Greg got me???? I don't know which one is better... He pre-ordered Dragon's for me the DVD/Blue Ray combo pack and He got me Tetris for my WII!!! I've wanted Tetris since I got my Wii! I was super excited!

Thank You Babes for the best 3 years of my life! and for being so AWESOME! I am so proud of you and all the hard work you do every day! I LOVE YOU SOOOOO MUCH!!!!!

4th of July Weekend W/ Greg in Cali!!!!!!

Greg had a four day weekend!!! So since it's our anniversary tomorrow and he had such a big weekend I decided that this was the perfect week for me to come up!!! Greg is staying with his good friend B.J.'s parents here in Danville, B.J. goes to grad school at UC Davis in Davis (which is about an hour and a half away in good traffic! Davis is only 40 miles outside of Sacramento). B.J. and his wife Becky were throwing a ward camp out! They invited us and we went, it was SO much fun! It was up in some mountain somewhere and their ward is super nice and friendly! the campsite was way cute and had this awesome river that was deep enough you could swim in it! We went down to the river both on Friday and on Saturday morning to swim since it was SUPER HOT! I finally got a smidgen of a tan... since I sit in an office all day there isn't much tanning going on! On the far side of the river the guys were swimming over and diving in off the rock face! I tried to get over there but I'm not a strong enough swimmer to beat the monstrous current. Greg and B.J. and another guy that I don't remember his name made it! That night everyone brought their own dinners, B.J. and Becky provided us with ours since they are so awesome. We made spaghetti and garlic bread! I know I was totally impressed with their cooking abilities... I was like Spaghetti while camping! I'm SO impressed! The garlic bread was super good, we cut it up and put butter and garlic salt on it the rolled it up in tinfoil and threw it directly in the fire! It turned out perfectly! Becky and B.J.'s little girl Ava was SO dirty anyway, but the Spaghetti was the icing on the cake! She was covered in sauce! B.J. kept saying, "Ava we're going to go dunk you in the river to clean you off!" She just happens to be the cutest little girl EVER! We also pulled off a great Dutch Oven Apple Cobbler! I don't think I've ever made anything that fancy while camping ever, except for when I was on the trek with Bro. and Sis. Beecher and he made Dutch Oven apple cobbler! It was super good, I was very impressed! The next morning we got up and broke down camp, of course we had to take one more swim before we left. On the way back we stopped at the Burger Barn in Esparta (a small TINY town out in the middle of NO WHERE!) I had an awesome corn dog!

Enjoying dinner! Isn't Ava the cutest messiest girl you ever saw! It was funny while we were cooking to her parent’s embarrassment she was conning people into giving her their food! She is just so cute you can't tell her NO!

When we got home on Saturday we took a long nap! But after that Greg took me down to Walnut Creek and we went to the Cheese Cake Factory!!! It was SOOO good! After that we went over to the theater and watched eclipse! Greg hadn't seen it yet and since he was dying to see it I made the sacrifice and watched it for my third time! I'll do anything for him! ha ha ha! It was just as good the third time as it was the first and second! (Jen... I'd also make the sacrifice to see it with you too!!! It's tradition!)

Sunday was the 4th of July!!!!! (Which happens to be my FAVORITE holiday!) We were going to go back to Davis and BBQ and watch fireworks with Becky and B.J. but I wasn't feeling good so we stayed in Danville instead! Danville has a way cute firework show... I don't know if it was as AMAZING as the PG fireworks but it was pretty close! Our anniversary was still three days away but I gave Greg half of his gift since we could use it! I got him a How To Train Your Dragon blanket! It has hiccup and Toothless on the front! I love it! And he LOVED it! We brought it and used it to lay on and watch the fireworks! It was blazing hot, like 100 degrees, so I didn't even think to bring a sweatshirt... as soon as the sun went down the temp dropped and it was freezing! Good think we were able to both fit in the blanket! The fireworks were great and they went on forever! All in all it was a great 4th of July... minus the sick part!

At work we get treats at each months staff meetings, I got fireworks and glow sticks as part of this months treat thing... So I brought the glow sticks for us to have. Greg got a little wild with the glows ticks. Later we had rolled them all into small rings and the cutest little girl walked by (she must have been not even 2) and picked them up. So, we gave them to her!

So yesterday Greg was lucky and had not only Friday off but Monday as well!!! So since we had the day off we decided to take a jaunty to San Francisco! I was super amazed at how close we are, and how easy it was to get there! We took the BART from Walnut Creek to San Fran. And since it was a holiday we got to park the car for free! Wahoo we saved a whole Dollar! It was way fun, we ate lunch there and walked around on the pier! We were going to eat at the Franciscan but I decided that we should just head back so that Greg could get to bed early (he has to get up at 5:30 in the morning for work and I wanted him to get some sleep). This whole trip it has been roasting!!! I'm serious it has been SUPER HOT! So I was determined to not melt as I bounded around San Fran... To my stupidity it was FREEZING! I don't know why I thought any different since it's always semi cold there even in the middle of the summer! San Francisco is like Seattle... It never gets warm! I guess it was cuz the last time I was there it was 100 degrees the entire time except for one day! But I know that it's always cold there... Anyway, I wore shorts and a short sleeve shirt, I brought a sweater but it was only 3-Quarter sleeved! Pretty much the end result was that I FROZE! Greg was super chivalrous and gave me his jacket but then I could tell he was cold... So I ended up buying an over priced Sweatshirt on the pier! It’s alright though, its super cute! We walked all over the place to the point my foot hurts now! We went down the Pier to Fisherman's Wharf. We ate the yummiest waffle cone and splurged on a Double Chocolate Chip from Starbucks! (Greg loves those and we haven't had one in forever!) We were going to eat but I decided that we should head home, due to an aching foot and Greg's needing to sleep. It was a great first time in San Francisco together experience. On the way home we picked up a pizza and a Redbox and went home and watched a movie and ate Pizza. We rented Remember Me... If you haven't seen it I would advise it. But realize that it is a very dark and tragic movie, I know it was advertised as a sweet love story but it's not. I had only heard how terrible it was... so I was curious about it... I think that since I went into it going it's going to suck I was pleasantly surprised. The first time I watched it I was like OK... I don't think this movie has a point or a story line for that matter, then the last 30 seconds are so crazy that I was shocked and stayed up for hours pondering what I had just watched. This time I actually enjoyed it more, I think its cuz I understood what was going on and was able to focus on different things instead of going I am SOOO confused! Anyway it was good, but know its TRAGIC!

When we first got off the BART there was this huge fountain and people were running and climbing all over it. Greg told me that when he was here with Brian and Mike there was no water and they didn't know what it was so they climbed in it and took a picture... We decided to take one for memory's sake!

So we were looking at this picture art thing and out of the corner of my eye I thought it said the Abraham Lincoln Bridge... I said it out loud and Greg goes, "you mean Brigade." Then I was like WHAT??? I literally just learned about them two weeks ago in class! They helped Spain fight during their civil war right before WWII broke out. So... I had to take a picture of the monument! Here's the kicker (I thought Ted would love this...) They fought for Communism. They were American communist! I found it to be kind of funny!

That's right I'm about to fly the friendly skies!!! I am going to go visit Greg real soon!!! (I know he just left!) I am so excited to go see him! He is having a great time by the way, the people he lives with are giving him the royal treatment and he really seems to like his job although he's just training. Anyway, he had a few days off for the Fourth of July and since that's our Anniversary weekend I decided to go down and visit! I leave Thursday night right after work and I will be there Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (our anniversary), Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and then I come home on Sunday! The best part is two Thursdays later I fly down again to spend the weekend! We had that Friday off cuz of Pioneer day from work so I again leave Thursday and I come home that very Sunday! Two weeks after that I'm going to fly out and drive home with Greg! If I break it up into small chunks like that it really doesn't seem that long!

I'm so excited for the trip!!! We're going camping with some friends of ours and we're going to go to Santa Cruz and hang out at the beach. We're also going to go to San Francisco and play there. I also am going to go visit some family I have in the area! I am so excited to see them, its been forever... seriously like 6 years!

Anyway! I can't wait to go! I have a crazy week before I leave though! I have a huge paper due on Friday (I'm going to be in cali when its really due so I'm going to turn it in two weeks early) and I have a three page essay due the same day! I just wrote my paper! It was suppose to be 5 pages long and it turned out to be 10! whew! Its a long one! Now all I have to do is finish my essay!

After that on Wednesday me and my mom are going to the Eclipse movie!!!!!!!! Yeah!!! I have to admit... I'm not really excited for this one. I didn't even realize it was coming out until a few days ago! But... I did buy our tickets today and we are now officially going.

Other then that not much else is going on! I finished my last general! Hallelujah! and I only have three more classes for my WWII class! And I get to see Greg in a WEEK!!!!
